Your waist measurement is divided (in centimetres) by the measurement of your hips (in centimetres). A ratio of waist to hip greater that 0.9 for males and 0.85 for women indicates an increased risk of health.

B) Your waist-to-height ratio:
The waist measurement is divided (in centimetres) by your height (in centimetres). To ensure optimal health, studies show that keeping your waist circumference at less than half of your height - or a ratio that is not greater than 0.5 is a good idea.
